so my first day in hong kong was pretty relaxing.after eating a big western breakfast, we walked around and explored chera's rad neighborhood, sheung wan.
sheung wan is such a beautiful neighborhood in hong kong. i really appreciated this area's "artsy" slash modern feel, the many westerners inhabiting it, and the fact that most everyone speaks english fluently. (it's actually really cute - since britain ruled hong kong until 1997, the chinese people speak english with a british accent. =])
oh! also!! living in seoul these past two years, i forgot that buildings can be different colors other than beige and grey! so having had this realization, obviously i was captured by the colorful buildings that touched the sky.
