on the last (full) afternoon of our mini vacation, erin and i ventured to the town of beitou, a place known for its hot springs resort and geothermal valley. we didn't actually bathe in a hot spring, but rather, we walked among the lush environment of the town, had a brewskie, and continued to be cold.
later, we met up with the others at shilin night market. there, i found some delicious pearl milk tea and tapioca balls to sip on slash drown myself in.
we also found some, um, interesting donut-like breads at the night market.
after the night market, we found ourselves at another brewery called 346. this place was pretty rad, especially considering it's a warehouse turned to bar and is decorated with old beer bottles and crates.
so that basically sums up our trip to taipei! of course, there were things i left out, such as proof via photos that our hostel was the most foul place i've ever stepped foot in, our ridiculous new year's dance moves, and our stupidly stressful trip to the taipei airport. but hey, if you wanna browse our entire adventure, click here.
